Taipei, Taiwan, — March 21st — At NVIDIA GTC, a global conference on AI and the metaverse, AIMobile introduced AIM-Edge ncon & AIM-Edge ucon powered by the new NVIDIA Jetson Orin system-on-modules (SoMs).
AIM-Edge ncon, based on the NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano series, features 8GB/4GB LPDDR5 memory, 4K/FHD video decoding/encoding, 2 RJ45 and M.2 SSD extensions. Designed for bringing true AI computing to edge applications, it supports rich I/O with low power consumption, such as USB 2.0/ USB 3.0/ Micro HDMI/ PWM/ GPIO (DO)/ RJ45(Gigabit ethernet), etc. Wall-mounted brackets and fan-less design make it easy to install in harsh environments.
With this launch, AIMobile builds on the strong momentum behind NVIDIA Jetson Orin worldwide. With AIM-Edge ncon, customers can develop edge AI, robotics, AIoT and embedded solutions for the NVIDIA Jetson platform, and then deploy applications on the Jetson Orin Nano. AIMobile is a member of the NVIDIA Partner Network and with this collaboration will release a range of products to equip its smart factory, smart transportation, and smart security systems based on the powerful NVIDIA Jetson Orin SoMs now available in production.
AIM-Edge ncon: The lightweight, small form factor can be applied to various applications, especially using next-generation the NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano. With up to 40 (S) INT8 TOPs AI compute, the Jetson Orin Nano can run multiple neural networks in parallel and process data from multiple high-resolution sensors simultaneously. It also offers a unique combination of performance and power advantages with a rich set of I/O, from high-speed CSI and PCIe to low-speed I2Cs and GPIOs. It’s a perfect fit with embedded and edge computing devices that demand increased performance but constrained by size, weight, and power budgets. AIM-Edge ucon: An all-in-one POE AI camera based on the high-performance NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano for use as smart cameras and portable platforms to embedded Microsoft Azure docker container for developers. It allows quick implementation of AI applications inside various applications.
